We invite all parents to become actively involved in the
University community!
Parents’ Fund Sub-Committee
is one of the four volunteer service committees parents
can join to become uniquely involved and offer their individual talents.
The chair of this sub-committee is on the Parents Council
executive committee and is asked to assist in the development of the
Parents’ Fund campaign, make recommendations, lead by example, and make
a leadership gift to the annual fund.
Those individuals who serve on the Parents’ Fund
subcommittee work primarily with the Assistant Director of Annual
Giving.
Committee
Responsibilities:

Assist the University’s Office of Annual Giving in their effort to
solicit UE parents.
·
Advise on ways to most effectively educate and inform parents about UE
and the Annual Fund
·
Help
in creating thought provoking and creative solicitation and
communication pieces.
·
Attend and participate in Parents’ Fund meetings that are held twice a
year.
Why the Parents’ Fund is so important?
Parents’ Fund
is an annual, unrestricted sub-campaign for parents.
The Parents’ Fund campaign is solely managed and operated by the
Office of Annual Giving. The
primary purpose of the Parents’ Fund campaign is to solicit current and
former parents of UE students and establish direct communication with UE
parents. Twice a year, the
University of Evansville reaches out to parents asking them to support
the University by pledging a gift to the Parents’ Fund.
The Office of Annual Giving markets to these parents through
direct mail, emails and phone calls.
The Parents’ Fund helps make possible all of the extra
educational and academic opportunities that are central to your child’s
educational experience, and helps us provide and ensure that financial
aid is available to all UE students who need them.
Any amount, no matter the size makes a significant difference and
is very much appreciated.

At the beginning of every year,
UE sends out a strong message to its students, challenging them to make
the most out of their college experience as they embark on a new school

Now we are challenging UE parents to do the same. During the
2008-2009 school year, we are challenging all parents to go above and

U•Envision 2010 Campaign
UE’s Comprehensive Capital Campaign
The University of Evansville is still going very strong since it
launched the public phase of the U•Envision 2010 Capital Campaign on
September 29, 2007. This is a very important comprehensive campaign for
UE and you can be a part of it. Through the 2008-09 Parents Fund campaign
you can show your support of U•Envision 2010 by giving to the Parents’
Fund. Your gift will be recognized as a Parents’ Fund gift and counted
toward the capital campaign– how great is that!!
