	UE Senior Council: The Senior Council is a group of highly motivated and influential seniors who have a vital interest in the University of Evansville. As a member of the Senior Council, it will be your primary responsibility to oversee all campaign operations in order to help raise monetary funds for the Senior Gift Campaign. You will work with UE's office of Annual Giving by spreading the word amongst your peers and asking for their support. Senior Council Responsibilities 1. Attend all Senior Council Meetings 2. Help to develop key initiatives and campaign strategies in order to reach monetary goal. 3. Assist in the development of solicitation and marketing pieces. 4. Help to develop campus events and programs in order to raise funds for the campaign. 5. Reach out to fellow students and peers and encourage their support of the campaign 6. Engage other student organizations, fraternities and sororities and appeal for their participation.
	Senior Council Incentives 1. To be associated with one of UE's most prominent student councils. 2. Helping to solidify and build the reputation of the Senior Council. 3. Leading your fellow seniors in participating in a great cause. 4. Experience effective philanthropy through direct involvement. 5. Please contact Monica Spencer @ ms323 to learn more! Senior Gift Campaign The Senior Gift Campaign is an annual, restricted campaign directed solely toward graduating seniors. It is presented in appreciation for your time at the University of Evansville and to foster a spirit of giving that remains with you long after you graduate. Gifts made through the Senior Gift Campaign can be designated to any UE program, fund or department of the donors choosing. The Senior Gift is important because it builds class unity, identity, and spirit. It also enables you to leave your legacy on the University of Evansville and give something back. As you may have heard UE is currently in the middle of its U•Envision 2010 Capital Campaign and through the Senior gift you can be a part of this very important national campaign. If you give through the 2009 Senior Gift Campaign your gift will not only be recognized as a senior gift but it will also be counted toward the capital campaign. How awesome is that!!! The Senior Gift campaign is also a great way for students to learn the importance of philanthropy. Charitable giving is an important social tool that everyone should be accustomed. We believe it’s essential that UE students have experience in giving to great philanthropic causes. Everyone benefits from the Senior Gift Campaign! YOU, UE and its future students. If you would like to give to the Senior Gift campaign, please fully complete the Senior Gift Form (click link to print copy of form) and mail it back to Monica Spencer in the office of Annual Giving. You can also visit one of the many Senior Gift Collection Events through out the year and give at that time. Please see below for more information. There are many ways you can give. 	2009 UE Brick Campaign Building UE’s legacy one brick at a time! Seniors this is your chance to “Leave your Legacy” on the University of Evansville before you graduate.This special offer from UE allows graduating seniors to make a gift of $25 now, and then pledge $25 for the next 3 years for a total gift of $100. For your generous gift to the William L. Ridgway University Brick Fund, you will get a special engraved brick placed in the walk of the new Ridgway University Center! How fantastic is that – campaigns like these don’t come around very often, so if you are a graduating senior please take advantage of this very special offer TODAY!!
