SAS (Sponsor-A-Student
Program)
The Sponsor-A-Student Program may be one of the most
satisfying ways to give to UE. For an unrestricted gift of $2,000 or more
for scholarship support, a deserving UE student will be named as a
scholarship recipient. Every year, sponsors are given the opportunity to
meet the student(s) benefiting from their assistance at an annual dinner.
I am the son of immigrants, the first member of my
family to obtain a college degree in the United States. I represent
the dreams of people who have come to this country seeking a better life.
I am the embodiment of their hard work and aspirations. But while hope is
abundant, money unfortunately is not, Diego Villada said. It is
with great humility and respect that I thank everyone who has chosen to
champion the cause of education and support UE scholarships with their
donations.

"The program is really great, and we love meeting
the student," Bill Stocker said. "It gives us the opportunity
to participate and give back to the University. I wouldn't be where I am
today without UE."
